We offer a priority computer repair service for students and staff but are also open to the general public. To use this service simply bring your computer to our store and we can take a look. If it is not a quick fix and requires more than 5 minutes to rectify then we can book it in for a £15 diagnosis fee. This comes off the price of any repair after we have received your permission to proceed with the repair.

The timescale for a repair at quiet times is 24hrs but during the autumn term and especially around freshers week we become inundated with customers and repair times can vary. You will be advised when booking in an approximate timescale.

We do not operate hourly charging. All repairs are fixed to the price quoted to you, regardless of the time it takes.

For Desktop machines, as long as it is not a screen problem, we only require you to bring in “the box” as we have keyboards, mice, speakers and screens etc.

For virus problems normally the best course of action is to backup any data and then reinstall the operating system. This takes around 36 hours and includes an anti-virus program and all windows updates along with driver files and browser setup.
